Sometimes I just need to pinch myself as I am so honored to be living one of my biggest dreams which is giving back to the community. My name is Melissa Mejias and I am the Director of the Fordham|University Heights Family Enrichment Center.
I am so excited for you all to come through the doors of OUR space. When I say the word OUR I want you to all know I truly mean that. This space gives you all the ability to co-create and co-design opportunities that are endless. There are so many ways you can be apart of the process whether it’s through volunteering, being apart of our Advisory Board, or just bringing along other community members.
So I encourage you to come through those doors a visitor and leaving feeling apart of the family!I look forward to meeting each and every one of you!

Darcel Denise Clark became the 13th District Attorney for Bronx County on January 1, 2016. She is the first woman in that position and the first African-American woman to be elected a District Attorney in New York State. She was re-elected to her third term in November 2023.
